Migration is a common instinct among the living beings and it is an age old phenomenon. History has a spotlight on migration habits of prehistorical men (Homoeructus) dating back to have migrated to Africa about 150,000 years ago and subsequently appeared across the world.
Necessity is the mother of "invention", so most of the agricultural workers from countryside migrated to nearing lands of prosperity. Similarly urbanization and refugee, labor migration is of prime focus for migration. Alternatively industrialization caused a heavy boom in migration process of men form all walks of life. A dramatic increase in globalization of economy and facilitated transport techniques opened up a new era in European migration process dating back to 1820.In early20th century Italy , Norway , Ireland , and China were the regions with high immigration rates.
International students studying overseas tend to migrate and this has contributed in large- scale migration in the modern age. Few men after studying for minimum length of period in foreign land certainly tend to migrate for permanent stay. Such permanent immigrants usually establish their residence and obtain citizenship. on the contrary temporary migrants do stay for limited period of contract or certain work seasons. Illegal immigrants are also one of the immigrants eventually turn asylum seekers.
